When Mitchell abducts the Romulan Commander, Kirk gets to know someone fascinating. (Strongly alternate version of the episode "Enterprise Incident" and the following day.)

Jim was quiet for a moment. Then he asked in a quiet voice, “Is she a better kisser than me?”

“What?”

“I mean, she must have an advantage, right? She’s a Romulan, she probably kisses with her hands all the time.”

“Well I…” he reached for his currently pointed ears.

“Captain, please go.” Spock’s voice was pointed, efficient, cold. “Somehow they do not look aesthetically agreeable on humans.”

Jim saw the way Spock looked at the Romulan commander, felt the tension between them, so it's only natural he thinks Spock might prefer him a different way. That is not, entirely, the case.

I always loved The Enterprise Incident, but it's got plot holes ye could drive a logging truck thru. Consider this my best attempt to spackle the bastards.

Immediately following the third season episode "The Enterprise Incident," Spock reveals how he managed to make his advances toward the Romulan female seem so authentic.

During the mission to steal the Romulan cloaking device, Kirk actually comes across Spock and he hands off the cloaking device with the order to get it out of there while Kirk leads the Romulans on a merry chase. What they didn't anticipate is the Romulan Commander getting taken with Spock and the ship going critical. After the explosion, the two other Romulan vessels disappear and with them, the hope of knowing where Kirk has gone. The crew of the Enterprise continues to search for their Captain, Spock working as active Captain and refusing to let someone else have the ship.

In The Enterprise Incident, Jim disguises himself as a Romulan soldier, and Spock goes about seducing the Romulan commander. This is what happens when they make it back to the Enterprise.

Ever wonder what really happened when Kirk and Spock accepted the assignment to steal the cloaking device? Or what Spock did to keep the Romulan Commander distracted long enough for Kirk to undergo surgery and get back disguised as a Romulan?

Jim is jealous of Spock and the Commander, but good God man, he wants to watch anyway.

An episode tag to s03e04 “The Enterprise Incident” that details the Romulan Commander’s perspective of her short time aboard the Enterprise and her observation of the curious relationship between Commander Spock and Captain Kirk. Otherwise known as “the time James T Kirk thinks he is being subtle about his jealousy, the Romulan Commander is cock-blocked, and Spock is oblivious to all the drama”.

Kirk can not overcome what happened to Miramanee and feels constantly tormented by it to the point of making his first official worry too much about his welfare.

Jim realizes that someone else has been having a hard time since the events on Amerind.

A follow-up story to the season three episode "The Paradise Syndrome".

Kirk, Spock, and McCoy share a quiet evening together and Spock promptly falls asleep on Kirk's shoulder. After McCoy leaves, what will happen?

Jim loses his memory. Spock and Bones lose Jim, Jim gains Miramanee then loses her. But at least he has a vacation---even though all vacations have to end.

After the events of "The Paradise Syndrome," Jim struggles to come to terms with the death of his bride, the loss of his idyllic life on Amerind, and the resurgence of his feelings for Spock.

I did a bit of retelling of that episode.

In the immediate aftermath of Miramanee's death, Jim, finally alone in his quarters on the Enterprise, tries to come to terms with what happened.

A quick fluffy moment in the aftermath of the episode And The Children Shall Lead S3E4.

In the episode And the Children Shall Lead, an alien entity attempts to take over the Enterprise by taking over the crew, mind by mind, and nobody is exempt--not even a Vulcan. When the alien gets to the bridge, Spock is as vulnerable as the rest of the crew, until the alien goes a step too far.

An episode tag to “Is There in Truth No Beauty”, in which our boys flirt over chess, Spock ignores his health (and his feelings), and Kirk tries to keep it in his pants, although not exactly in that order.

After Spock rescues Kirk from the Tholian space, they realize what they almost lost, but will they have the courage to do something about it?

Kirk muses about what should have been, or what could be, while trapped in Tholian space.

It is not the first time that he's nearly died, but this one hits hardest of all.

During the events of "Plato's Stepchildren." As a doctor, McCoy can only heal Spock's physical wounds. It's up to Kirk to do the rest.

Sometime shortly after the Plato's Children episode, Jim has been contemplating it and is coming to ask for Spock's opinion, as he always does.

When they had first met, Jim had known not to touch his hand.

The Platonians try a different way to break Kirk and Spock.

A fanfic that focuses on the aftermath of the episode "Plato's Stepchildren," specifically on Spock trying to cope with his emotional violation and his near uncontrollable anger over Parmen's actions towards Kirk.

After rejecting the advances of a stranger, Kirk returns to his and Spock’s hotel room and during the night somehow is made to erroneously believe that he and Spock are lovers.

"Elas is a harsh and lonely place. A planet of ice and snow. Not at all like the ponderous heat of Vulcan."

She raises her weapon, makes to stab Spock in the back. Without any sign of upset, Spock swiftly catches Ilaam by the wrist and holds fast.

Her smile turns into a grimace. She wrenches her arm away and stashes the weapon.

"I did not think you would understand. But take heart. You are not so easily influenced as your Captain."

The Enterprise crew is tasked with ferrying a high-ranking noble from her remote dominion to her betrothed's home planet. Tempestuous and bitter, Ilaam will do anything to squash her upcoming marriage and return home.

Based on the TOS episode "Whom Gods Destroy". When Kirk tells Garth that Spock is his brother, he has no idea the connotations of that word when it comes to Vulcans. But he's about to find out.

This is a retelling of the 69th episode of the original Star Trek series (Season 3, Episode 14), Whom Gods Destroy, from Kirk's POV. In this version of events, Spock and Kirk have an established relationship and we get to see how this may have affected their mission.

This was meant to be an altered version of the original episode, but it can be read as if the reboot versions of Kirk and Spock were experiencing the adventure their older counterparts once did.

At the end of Requiem for Methuselah, Spock is in Kirk's room, trying to help the Captain forget. This is a snippet from Spock's point of view.

Truths are spoken, and a heart to heart is had.

Written to deal with the fact, at the end of Requiem for Methuselah, Spock touched his mind to Jim’s mind, as he slept – only to try and help him; to try and stop him suffering – but it’s been pointed out that the writers should have had Spock ask, or announce himself, first -because the Mind Meld can sometimes be done on a personal, rather intimate level – the same kind of level on which sex comes into being.

The ending of Requiem for Methuselah goes a little differently.

McCoy reveals to Kirk why he's having trouble accepting the change in the relationship between Kirk and Spock. Kirk doesn't always listen to advice from his chief medical officer.

Set directly after the TOS episode "All Our Yesterdays." Kirk goes to talk to Spock about what happened on Sarpeidon. Fascinating discoveries ensue, for both Kirk and Spock.

A sequel to "All Our Yesterdays"

Kirk suspects something more than what is written in McCoy's report happened on Sarpeidon. He approaches Spock to offer support.

Set after "All Our Yesterdays".

What if it had been Kirk, instead of McCoy, who went through the time portal with Spock in All Our Yesterdays?

Kirk and Spock finally come to terms with their relationship. This story is set immediately after the original series episode, 'All Our Yesterdays' and was inspired by Marianne's beautiful drawings, 'Wet Captain Dream,' 'Wet Vulcan Dream.'

Kirk forces a confrontation with Spock after getting his body back from Janice Lester, angered over his lover’s unwillingness to share himself as exemplified by Spock’s not telling him about Zarabeth, which had caused a month long separation.

After Kirk is out of Janice Lester's body and back in his own, he and Spock come to a new understanding.

Kirk and Spock are summoned to Starbase Two for an unpleasant but necessary duty: a legal hearing to determine Janice Lester’s fate – a trip that will have far-reaching consequences for their lives.

‘You can stay if you want.’

It should be a simple sentence to parse.

The Captain is suggesting a sexual liaison. Spock does want. Spock, therefore, should remain.

Set immediately after “Turnabout Intruder”. Kirk ponders the hand holding. Ponders soul. Ponders Spock’s ass. Alternating POV between Kirk and Spock.

After the brief mindmeld in "Turnabout Intruder," both Kirk and Spock struggle with unexpected revelations.

After the events of "Turnabout Intruder", Kirk thought it was over. He was wrong.

Starts out during the episode "The Tholian Web" and continues through "Turnabout Intruder." Kirk and Spock discover the depth of their feelings for each other.

Takes place a few weeks after “Turnabout Intruder.” Considers movies AU. Written in light of COVID-19 pandemic, but is NOT meant to imply that I believe COVID to be bioengineering. In fact, quite the opposite. Kirk’s near-death experience description based on my own experience after I coded after a surgery back in 2001. I also used my personal experience with rape to factor into Kirk’s psyche (although I’m sure he got over that kind of thing better than I have).

In the aftermath of Camus II, Kirk deals with the aftermath of the transference of his mind into Janice Lester's body.

"Would you have minded?" he asks, already knowing the answer, "If the change had been permanent? If I'd been stuck in that body?"

Set after The Turnabout Intruder, First Officer Spock finds himself unsettled and concerned about the dreams he has been having that feature his Captain. His concern turns to horror as he begins to realize the magnitude of the situation he has found himself in... at war with his two halves, facing the stubborness of James T. Kirk and the ferocity of McCoy's mother hen nature, meditation won't be enough to get Spock out of this one...

Post-Turnabout Intruder, Kirk grapples with returning to his captaincy and with his feelings for his First Officer as the Enterprise crew becomes embroiled in the affairs of the utopian underwater city of Ark. Everything comes to a head when the diplomatic mission is complicated with variables outside their control, and Spock bears the brunt of the consequences.

This is a different version of Turnabout Intruder. Jim/Janice and Spock share the brig together.

Kirk contemplates the events that took place in s3e24 "Turnabout Intruder."

After two days of being back to normal, Kirk still can't sleep.
