Since the events of "Amok Time", strange thoughts have been on Kirk's mind. And only Spock can shed light on them.

Spock hasn't been the same since the events on Vulcan. Kirk tries to break through Spock's stupor. McCoy misinterprets events. Kirk is stuck trying to sort everything out while not allowing himself any leeway for human error.

Shenanigans ensue.

If you thought the televised ending of Amok Time was too convenient, you were right. Here's how it "really" ended.

T'Pau's grandnephew brings friends to what she already knows will be his funeral. Jim Kirk doesn't believe in no win scenarios, and after today, T'Pau just might believe in miracles.

Spock’s pon farr returns while the ship is orbitting Altair 4, and Kirk is unwilling to contemplate Spock turning to a stranger.

“There's just one thing, Mister Spock. You can't tell me that when you first saw Jim alive that you weren't on the verge of giving us an emotional scene that would have brought the house down.”

In which Spock does give them an emotional scene that brings the house down and ends in a love confession.

When T'Pring chooses Kirk to be her champion for the kaliffee, neither he nor Spock anticipate how their fight will end, nor what the result will be once back on board the Enterprise.

Spock makes an alarming discovery after the events of Amok Time.

Spock did bond with T'Pring, and this story picks up two weeks after the bonding.

Sequel to "Still Amok," as the Enterprise moves on to its next mission and both Spock and Kirk cope with the emotional fallout.

The story follows Spock and T'Pring's relationship beginning with their betrothal. It also explores Spock's relationship with Kirk and T'Pring's with Stonn.

Following the recent events of "Amok Time," Spock visits the captain's quarters.

Set sometime after Amok Time. Spock suffers a relapse of Pon Farr, and Kirk is there to help him out. Somewhat established relationship.

What if, upon discovering he had killed his captain, Spock refused to leave Jim's side?

The story is set post Amok Time. Two weeks later, Jim is still haunted by the incident and has recurrent nightmares and hallucinations due to PTSD. He has cut off Spock completely, as he triggers Jim. Spock seems unaffected by it all, until it becomes evident that that's not the case.

The story of Amok Time told in three parts. Follows T'Pring, Kirk, and Spock in the days leading up to their encounter on Vulcan.

Alternative to canon Amok Time.

After pon farr and their fight on the hot sands of Vulcan, a bond is discovered between Jim and Spock. This new intimate link, hidden necessarily even from McCoy, deepens their already strong relationship, providing a new definition of home for each of them.

However, in the aftermath of a telepathic attack on an alien world, misunderstandings and unseen damage create a devastating rift between the two men. Amidst a destructive interplanetary conflict, they are each forced to face alone the consequences of their deepest secret.

Against all odds, beset on all sides, will the promise of t’hy’la persevere? Or will the command team of the Enterprise fall, taking the stability of the Federation with it?

What if, after the kal-if-fee, Spock still felt he deserved punishment for all the wrongs he had caused? What if, in the burning sands of Vulcan, he had bonded with his captain without the man's consent? What if he had hurt his t'hy'la? What would he do then? Well, there is only one logical solution when harm comes to one's t'hy'la—remove the source of that harm.

Spock is forced to come clean about a few things to Jim as well as deal with his unwanted bond to T'Pring. This leads to a trip to Vulcan and an uncomfortable family reunion.

In the throes of combat during Spock's blood fever, a spontaneous t'hy'la bond is created between him and his Captain. Despite this, Jim continues to rectify mental shields between them.

Rejection, Spock thinks, is a painful emotion.

The aftereffects of pon farr do not go away as quickly as Spock would like everyone to believe. Jim can tell and he's ready and willing to help.

What if Spock never went to Sickbay at the end of Amok Time?

Through his Vulcan instincts, in its purest form while he succumbed to plak tow, Spock forms a bond with Kirk just before Spock "kills" him. The Enterprise continues on course to Altair VI, with Kirk and Spock tricked into shore leave.

That impersonal behavior may have been normal for any other ship, but that was not how the Enterprise worked.

Just your average Ponn Farr first time story. After “let’s go mind the store”. Kirk dismissed early. Goes to drinking with McCoy. Realizes Spock needs him. Overrides quarters. Aftermath. Afterglow.

Post-Amok Time. Spock keels over on Altair VI. Jim worries. McCoy makes deductions.

"What had happened on Vulcan would not stay on Vulcan. It simply refused."

Spock's log entries just prior to Amok Time. Keep in mind, this involves his rather fevered fantasies.

Spock has just returned to the ship after the Koon-ut-Kal-if-fee... and discovered the Captain alive and well. He tells Kirk and McCoy that the Pon Farr is over, the battle apparently purged his system. All is well, and they continue on their mission.

The journey to Vulcan has lasting effects on both the Captain and his First Officer.

Jim obeys the orders of Admiral Komack and directs the Enterprise straight to Altair VI. All is well aboard the Enterprise, with Spock confined to his quarters until they reach Vulcan, until it's not.

Alternate ending to Amok Time. What if T'Pau hadn't sent that message to Starfleet to excuse Kirk for his insubordination, and he was discharged from his first best destiny?

His meditations are, quite predictably, interrupted only three hours in.

Kirk comforts Spock after the Vulcan's bond with T'Pring is broken and learns of a way to fill the painful empty space in his first officer's mind.

Begins with last line of dialog of "Amok Time." Spock's Pon Farr is not over.

Whilst in one of the most dangerous situations of his life, Jim Kirk came to a realisation that he should have had a very long time ago. Two, in fact, and he was about to let neither go to waste. A potential epilogue to Amok Time.

Jim swallows, his throat suddenly tight. “So. Seven years.”

“Give or take,” Spock says. “It is not necessarily a bad thing, Jim. It would be best, seeing as you are human, that we…work up to some of the things that I am capable of doing to you during pon farr.”

Set after the Season 2 Episode Amok Time. Spock tries to deny his feelings for Jim.

After the circumstances of the Enterprise’s detour to Vulcan, it takes a little while for symptoms to emerge.

While events on Vulcan had averted Spock's descent into the plak tow, Jim soon starts to notice some changes.

Another Amok Time AU.

Spock returns to the Enterprise after the Challenge on Vulcan to discover that he has not killed the Captain. He soon realizes that his need to mate has not subsided. Doctor McCoy assists him by finding a sex worker to service his needs on Altair VI while Jim attends the inauguration ceremonies.

In the wake of pon farr, the events on Vulcan are weighing heavy on Spock and his Captain. But will their attempt to fix the problem only make things worse?

After "Amok Time," Kirk comes to Spock's quarters to make sure he's all right. At least, that's his excuse.

Kirk contracts a condition that makes him feel perpetually cold. Spock has to perform mind melds to convince Kirk he’s warm..

The Captain of the Starship Enterprise is determined to whisk his First Officer away for a romantic getaway - only Spock doesn't yet know that romance is involved. Luckily, James T. Kirk is a man of determination, and great affection, especially where his XO is concerned.

It's almost the end of the five-year mission, and Spock has lost his way and is thinking of returning to Vulcan. A mishap lands him in the Mirror Universe anda facing an alternate Kirk. In trying to return Spock to the right universe, both he and Kirk learn that their love is meant to be, in any universe.

Trapped in a parallel world, Kirk recognizes some similarities between his Spock and Mirror!Spock. Mirror!Spock begins to realize that this Kirk is not the Captain he knows.

Spock finds himself at a party impatiently waiting for Jim who's caught up in a debriefing. When Jim finally arrives, it looks like their sexual attraction will culminate in the best possible way. The unwanted sight of a Tellerite however, makes a change of plans necessary.

Spock's mother has a productive conversation with James Kirk, one that dismantles some of the assumptions Jim has had about Spock.

Amanda smiled. "You just don't understand Vulcan sexuality, that's all, Jim. Human sexuality is like a light bulb, whereas Vulcan sexuality is like a laser."

Spock’s parents don’t pay him much mind, but Jim does.

Was I the only one that wondered why Spock didn't experience multiple Pon Farrs in the episode "The Deadly Years"? I decided that he did, but that he cycled through them so quickly he didn't recognize them for what they were (after all, his cognitive awareness was failing as well). This is the story of how multiple Pon Farr's left Spock severely ill and emotionally compromised and the wake-up call it gave one James T. Kirk.

Coda to "The Deadly Years" (S02EP11). Kirk stops by to apologize to Spock for his outburst after the hearing; Spock, struggling with his emotions, isn't sure what to believe.

Kirk and Spock's relationship is new, but they still must deal with the appearance of one of Kirk's old lovers while combatting radiation poisoning that mimics old age.

After Jim and Spock ride in the car for the second time on Sigma Iota II, Spock is strangely into Jim's LARPing. Turns out it's because Jim gave him a little piece of the action.

Spock teaches Kirk how to play checkers later on, after the USS Enterprise leaves Sigma Iotia II. Kirk reminisces and daydreams of the planet--and his and Spock's adventures on it--throughout. Kirk also uses Spock's inevitable inquiries as to why Kirk keeps staring at him as an opportunity to make a move on him. It goes rather well, Kirk thinks.

Kirk realizes that his feelings for Spock haven't jeopardized their working relationship after all, so he finally expresses them. First-time set after 'The Immunity Syndrome'.

Based on Spock's line "Brace yourself. The area of penetration will no doubt be sensitive." in the TOS episode The Immunity Syndrome.

Follows Immunity Syndrome. Jim hosted Spock’s Katra…just in case. Story begins as Spock’s shuttle returns to the Enterprise immediately following destruction of the giant amoeba! If you are unfamiliar with this episode (gasp!), I’m afraid you’ll be a bit lost.

There are occasions in life where nothing is what it seems to be. That applies specifically to the Enterprise, especially when events happen without context. Then it doesn't make sense and a certain train of logic has to be used. It's not what it seems to be. It can't be what you want it. It can only be what it is.

Shore leave with your ex is weird (Read. Shore leave with your ex is weirder when he's got a hole straight through his chest and you are absolutely languishing in uprooted trauma). (Read. Spock gets shot and Kirk really doesn't handle it well). But as long as you stay hydrated, everything will turn out okay.

Since getting home from Tyree’s planet, Jim had had a, thankfully, quiet few days. Episode related (A Private Little War) - because of this story, I suppose the Universe it's set in is an AU one - Or just one that denies that the 'women of the week' tendencies of James T. Kirk, continue on after that episode/this scene.

The story takes place during the episode Bread and Circuses, set between Spock and McCoy's gladiatorial fight and Kirk's re-introduction to Drusilla.

Spock found himself "strangely drawn" to Gary Seven’s black cat, Isis, in "Assignment: Earth." At the very end of the episode, we saw her as a cat-eared woman. She explains to us why, and demonstrates to Spock why he should go after his heart’s desire.
